So far, I've only used it once to assist me with soldering some cables in my car. I appreciate not having to clean my corded unit. I'm not sure how long it will stay on a charge, but it got hot enough to melt solder and works perfectly. To me, it's a toy, but it works. It's odd that you have to remove the tip to charge it, but they might have done a better job with the design. Because of the inexpensive price, I can't complain.

It's perfect for its size! It heats up rapidly, has a little tip for small jobs, and I can solder 0402 with it (using magnification of course). The build quality is superior to any other soldering iron I've used, and the power supply, while unnamed, appears to be of great quality and supplies maximum power to the iron. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, and I'm hoping the connection for the tips catches on in the aftermarket.

It's a lot smaller than I expected it to be. It's almost as big as a sharpie! This size, however, does not reflect the strength that emanates from this tiny box.

It was quite simple to use and worked well for my first soldering effort. Some of the joints aren't ideal, but that's due to user error rather than the iron's fault.
